They are seeking an intern for Global Product Line Management to conduct industry analysis, develop forecasting methodologies, and collaborate with global teams to support vehicle powertrain outlooks and market intelligence.

Responsibilities

Develop forecasting methodologies for the Global Region's TIV (total industry volume), vehicle segments, and competitors’ model lines

Apply statistical techniques to large data sets from various market sources and aggregate into cohesive storyboard for Executive review

Map the evolution of competitive model lines by powertrain and apply forecasts to prepare proposals for vehicle powertrain outlook, providing analytical support and rationale to influence leadership decisions on Hyundai and Genesis model portfolios by market

Conduct thorough analysis, apply critical thinking, and utilize coding skills to create visualizations, ensure market alignment, and deliver logical storytelling

Organize and categorize refreshed monthly market data into clusters/tables for analysis; communicate with Global PLM teams to collect data and obtain feedback on industry trends, legislative actions, and competitor strategies

Research unique country-level sales drivers, competitive factors, and regulatory impacts to determine business implications

Collaborate effectively with 70+ PLM team members across headquarters and global regions, clearly communicating deliverables and building professional relationships in multilingual environments
