Responsibilities

Partner closely with Product and cross-functional teams to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions
Design and build systems end-to-end—spanning backend services, data pipelines, and user-facing components
Ship high-quality features at speed while maintaining clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
Contribute to architectural discussions and help shape engineering best practices as the team scales
Collaborate in a fast-moving, high-ownership environment where your work has immediate impact
(For Senior Candidates) Mentor junior engineers through code reviews, design guidance, and technical leadership

Qualification

Required

Proven experience in a fast-paced startup environment (early or growth stage preferred)
Strong proficiency with Python, TypeScript, and AWS infrastructure
Experience designing and building production-grade systems end-to-end
Strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with cross-functional partners
Ability to thrive in a high-velocity environment with evolving priorities

Preferred

Background working with or adjacent to healthcare, life sciences, or compliance-driven applications
Familiarity with modern ML or NLP concepts
Experience building scalable distributed systems
Prior experience mentoring engineers or leading major technical initiatives
Experience contributing to both backend and frontend systems in a full-stack capacity
