Responsibilities

System architecture through solid model and electrical design

Bill of materials, product pricing management and quoting of new opportunities

Technical communication – Should have customer facing experience

Specification document generation and review

Field application assessment and troubleshooting

Lab testing for product performance and benchmarking

Remote and/or in-person specification requirements review, including local travel to customer site

Air travel to Watlow sites for training and on-site meetings as needed

Air travel to customer sites as needed to support new opportunities or troubleshooting needs

Drive to organize and document standard work, educate other team members on best known practices and procedures

Motivation to learn about new products and apply them to applications

Discipline to integrate processes with Watlow business system

Experience with lean product development / project management tools

Required

Four-year Bachelor's in Engineering or related field

5-7 years of job experience

Preferred

Experience with Solid Modeling, SolidWorks is preferred

Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office suite

Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) / Business Management Systems (BMS)

Fluent in basic electrical theory
