Cyber Quality Engineer - Grand Prairie, TX

Responsibilities
Support the overarching operating procedures and processes for cybersecurity compliance
Witness cyber inspections, scans, image builds, threat detections, vulnerability scans, assessments and testing
Collaborate with Cyber Engineering, Security, and Test Engineering teams to embed best‑practice security controls
Facilitate and host quality meetings with cross‑functional stakeholders to drive cybersecurity excellence
Travel as needed to support program cyber activities and on‑site assessments
Qualification
Required
STEM Degree at Bachelors level or higher preferably in one of the following related disciplines – Cybersecurity Engineering, Information Systems Security, Information Assurance, Cybersecurity Assurance, Cyber Defense, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, etc
Ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance
Security+ Certification
Knowledge of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST)
Knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF)
Understanding of network security, threats and vulnerabilities, cryptography and access control
Knowledge of cyber security concepts for Test Equipment
Knowledge of Requirements, Design/Development and Test
Demonstrated basic understanding of audit techniques
Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc
Effective communication skills including written, oral, listening, presentation and technical writing
Ability to travel (LM sites, suppliers, testing sites, etc.)
Ability to work outside of normal business hours such as weekend support or after 5pm
Ability to be on-call when need to support program milestones
Preferred
Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt)
Experience with Suppliers
Experience with Government customers (DoD programs)
Knowledge of Cybersecurity and/or Anti-tamper including system design and vulnerability assessment
Knowledge of security protocol design and analysis
Demonstrated ability to use causal analysis tools to analyze and resolve technical/process issues varying from basic to very complex
Strong knowledge of Quality Industry recognized Quality Systems/Models such as Capability Maturity Model Integrated (CMMI), QMS System Audit (AS9100, ISO9001)
Experience working in different program phases (IRAD, Development, Production, Sustainment)
Corrective Action Board (Process, Command Media, Corrective Action, Preventive Action, Root Cause Analysis)
