Creative Production Designer
Grinnell College is seeking a Creative Production Designer who thrives in a collaborative environment to drive creative strategy and production of various design projects. The role involves partnering with Development and Alumni Relations to produce materials that align with the College's brand identity while managing project workflows and stakeholder communications.

Responsibilities
Produce high-quality creative materials that maintain College identity and brand standards and meet production objectives. Ensure that all digital graphics are ADA accessible (WCAG 2.2+)
Consult with stakeholders and contribute to the development of strategic communications and marketing plans, including defining needs, strategy, and project parameters
Manage workflow and communication, coordinating projects among the OCM team, campus partners, and external vendors to ensure timely and accurate project execution
Actively engage in professional development to advance discipline expertise and strategic communications and marketing knowledge
Maintain facility with multiple design software packages and platforms, consistently applying advanced technical skills to support creative production (e.g., Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, digital layout and publishing tools, and related design platforms)
Qualification

Creative thinker who thrives on bringing ideas to life through compelling design
Experience in a highly collaborative team environment
Ability to drive creative strategy and guide the production of a wide variety of creative design projects, from concept to completion
Experience in designing annual giving campaigns and comprehensive campaign materials
Experience in designing and producing digital, social, and print design projects
Ability to steward brand identity by designing and overseeing production of strategic projects
Experience working with College vendors (printers, digital development partners, photographers, and freelancers)
Ability to ensure all materials conform to College identity standards
Ability to produce high-quality creative materials that maintain College identity and brand standards
Ability to ensure that all digital graphics are ADA accessible (WCAG 2.2+)
Experience consulting with stakeholders and contributing to the development of strategic communications and marketing plans
Ability to define needs, strategy, and project parameters
