Financial Institutions Associate Attorney

Responsibilities
Support a Financial Institutions practice that advises banks, investment funds, private equity groups, and other financial market participants
Assist with mergers and acquisitions, general corporate matters, governance issues, and regulatory considerations that impact financial institutions
Work closely with senior attorneys, gain direct client exposure, and be part of a team that values strategic thinking and proactive communication
Qualification
Required
1–3 years of corporate or M&A experience within a law firm
Prior work involving financial institutions, banking transactions, or regulatory matters (or a genuine interest in developing this expertise)
Ability to manage multiple workstreams, meet deadlines, and communicate clearly under time pressure
Strong academic foundation and a J.D. from an accredited law school
Admission in Illinois or Texas, or the ability to become licensed in one of those states
