Customer Service Representative- Qualifications
ProCare Home Medical is growing and looking for motivated, detail-oriented Customer Service Representatives to join their Anchorage team. In this role, you will work with patients, physicians, insurance companies, and internal departments to ensure home medical equipment and supply orders are processed quickly and accurately.

Responsibilities
Process home medical equipment (DME) and supply orders
Communicate with patients, doctors, and insurance providers
Verify insurance coverage and obtain prior authorizations
Enter and update data accurately in electronic systems
Support billing and documentation processes as needed
Provide excellent customer service on phone and in person
Qualification
Required
Insurance verification and prior authorization experience
Medical billing experience (Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care)
High school diploma or equivalent
Excellent phone and communication skills
Type at least 45 wpm
Strong customer service and communication skills
Excellent organization and attention to detail
Comfortable with technology and data entry systems
A positive, team-oriented attitude
Ability to multitask and work with urgency
Familiarity with medical terminology
Preferred
Experience in a medical office or DME/HME environment
10-key by touch
Two years of healthcare or DME experience
