Responsibilities
Advising clients on business formation, corporate governance, contracts, mergers and acquisitions, and regulatory compliance
Representing clients in business-related disputes, including negotiations, mediations, and litigation
Developing and implementing sound legal strategies tailored to clients’ needs and business objectives
Preparing and reviewing contracts, agreements, and other legal documents to mitigate risks and ensure compliance
Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients through exceptional communication, professionalism, and trust
Collaborating with colleagues to deliver seamless, high-quality legal services in one of the region’s most respected business law practices
Qualification
Required
Active Virginia State Bar license (required)
Minimum of 5 years of experience in business law, including corporate governance, contracts, mergers and acquisitions, and dispute resolution
Proven ability to handle complex legal matters effectively and achieve favorable client outcomes
Exceptional interpersonal skills with a track record of building lasting professional relationships
Demonstrated commitment to ethical standards, professionalism, and collaboration
Preferred
Experience advising businesses on regulatory compliance and risk management
Strong negotiation and advocacy skills, with a history of favorable results in contract disputes and other business-related legal challenges
