They are seeking a Human Resources Manager to oversee the Human Resources Department, manage employee relations, and ensure compliance with business objectives.

Responsibilities

Plans, organizes and controls all activities of the site's Human Resources Department

Plays a key role in business processes to include providing support and input for the site's long-term strategic plan and managing employee crewing and resource planning across the site

Directs, guides, and coordinates all Human Resource Programs, Policies and Practices

Assists in ensuring a safe work environment for all employees

Develop department goals, objectives and systems to meet business objectives and ensure governmental compliance

Leads corporate Human Resources initiatives such as the organizational health process, succession planning, leadership training, performance review and talent review

Creates an effective employee and labor relations environment that enables the site to attain its business objectives

Provides advice and coaching to Senior Leaders, managers and employees on all matters related to employee and organizational development

Provides generalist and strategic human resources leadership at their respective plant

Deals with employee relations issues and work with employees and union leaders on resolutions

Payroll over-site for facility

Required

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university

5 plus years of Human Resources experience with some managerial experience

Labor relations experience

Management development expertise

Knowledge of employment and labor laws

Microsoft Office suite

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Must be at least 18 years of age or older

Preferred

Master's degree in human resources or business-related field
