Responsibilities
Track and manage incoming development sample shipments daily
Oversee and proactively execute and be accountable for development sample fitting
Assist technicians to manage the daily activity for all assigned projects through communication with the LA and Asia team in order to achieve project objectives
Assist technicians to follow up with field test managers to ensure consistent performance, fit, and that each style meets wear test standards throughout the development process
Assist technicians to order, track, and organize wear test samples and reports
Assist technicians in the confirmation sample approval process
Assist technicians in detailed and thorough fitting of pre fit samples
Assist technicians to track all development pullover and sample ETD
Assist technicians to manage costing objectives as outlined by merchandiser and work with designer to achieve category goals
Communicate clearly and effectively with the commercialization team on creative solutions to ensure all assigned projects fit properly and achieve project objectives
Travel to manufacturing locations, development centers, and vendors to learn and assist the technician team
Support field testing managers on an as needed basis
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required
Must be detail orientated and extremely organized
Self-starter who gets things done
Possesses a sense of responsibility and ownership
Manages multiple projects and multi-tasks well
Communicates well with all team members including the Asia R&D team and factories using all necessary tools (email, phone, MS Teams, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc...)
Innovative and creative thinker
Maintains good relationships with overseas offices, factories, and suppliers
Equivalent experience in footwear development can substitute for degree
Preferred
Engineering degree preferred
Footwear experience preferred but not necessary
