Relationship Administrator Team Leader

Univest is seeking a passionate leader for their Commercial Lending Support Team. In this role, you will mentor and guide support staff while providing expert commercial lending process support and exceptional client management, ensuring adherence to bank policies and fostering strong relationships with clients.

Responsibilities

Supervisory responsibilities of a team consisting of support staff roles. Responsible for coaching and guiding staff to carry out the plans and procedures consistent with Bank policies, including compliance with laws and regulations. Conduct timely performance evaluations
Establish operational relationship with designated clients to handle routine daily operational issues and client requests
Deposit and Loan Account Support, including NSF/Overdraft management and processing transfers and loan payments
Assist in gathering documentation needed from customers to open accounts
Facilitate Account / Loan Maintenance, including but not limited to account closures, change of address, signers, and contact information
Retrieve and send account statements to customers
Facilitate wire requests and cashier check requests
Contact customer with check issues from Item Operations, including but not limited to approval over amount, chargebacks, irregular signature, and stop payments
Collaborate with Relationship Managers and Portfolio Managers in sending out financial statement letters, if needed
Scan and track financial information, loan documentation, and other miscellaneous information in the Bank’s systems
Create miscellaneous written forms of communication, including but not limited to account verification and appraisal fee letters
Provide support to the loan origination process, such as ordering, reviewing, and saving all necessary due diligence searches, including but not limited to real estate searches, lien searches, credit reports, background checks, and OFAC reports
Provide support to the commercial loan process by ordering appraisal and environmental reports
Prepare the approval package using a Loan Origination System in collaboration with the Relationship Manager to outline the structure, terms, and conditions of the loan facility for new loan origination and renewals/modifications of existing loans
Provide support to the loan closing process, such as determining pre-close items required for loan settlement. This may include, but not be limited to obtaining insurance documentation, communicating directly with title companies, and being responsible for review and final approval of loan coding
Assist in ordering and reviewing loan documentation, scheduling loan settlements, and notarizing loan documents, when needed
Provide post-closing support through scanning executed loan documentation, sending the loan for booking, processing, and submitting payments for loan fees and Attorney Invoices and converting files into the permanent electronic imaging system
Retrieve and distribute monthly reporting including but not limited to delinquencies, maturing loans, annual reviews, insurance, and exception reporting
Collaborate with Relationship Managers and Portfolio Managers in clearing exceptions
Collaborate with Collateral Review Team to facilitate construction loan advance requests
Provide support to Commercial Lending Team for Audit Preparation
Prepare and provide Reg B adverse action notices, when required
Responsible for compliance with laws and regulations that apply to the position, including the Univest Code of Conduct

High School Diploma or GED Required, and/or equivalent experience in related area
Software Proficiency: Microsoft Teams or equivalent, Video Conferencing, Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, Outlook, OneNote, PowerPoint and SharePoint

Preferred

Prior Salesforce and nCino experience
Knowledge of commercial lending processes and procedures
Minimum of three years of industry experience in an administrative support role
Prior management experience highly preferred
