Responsibilities
Prepare accurate, timely estimates and proposals for doors, gates, and dock systems
Perform job walks, measurements, and site assessments; validate existing conditions
Collaborate with technicians/operations to confirm labor hours, parts, and schedule
Source and verify vendor pricing; maintain current cost databases and templates
Follow up on open quotes; track bid pipeline, win/loss, and change orders
Communicate clearly with customers about scope, options, and code/safety considerations
Qualification
Required
Experience in estimating (construction, specialty trades, or similar industrial field)
Ability to read measurements, specs, and basic drawings; strong math and accuracy
Excellent written and verbal communication; customer‑facing professionalism
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel/Word); estimating software a plus
Valid driver's license; ability to visit field sites across the region
Preferred
Industrial/commercial doors, gates, or loading‑dock systems background
Track record in client‑facing estimating or sales support
