CAMBA is a community organization dedicated to building an inclusive New York City. The Supervisor (Audits) will oversee government and funder audits, prepare financial records for audits, and ensure compliance with fiscal policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

Oversee government and funder audits

Prepare workpapers for annual audits (i.e., financial, taxes, Federal Uniform Guidance Single Audit)

Analyze internal financial reports

Prepare financial records for funder audits (i.e. gather relevant documentation, account analysis and workpaper preparation)

Perform internal audits for closed and current programs

Oversee the preparation of responses to follow up on audit reports and findings

Oversee the development and implementation of fiscal policies for compliance with funder requirements in order to ensure sound accounting

Oversee the monitoring of fiscal related activity to ensure compliance with written policies and procedures

Create and maintain audit files

Supervise 1-2 staff
