Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and configuration of Duck Creek Policy and Billing solutions
Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and QA teams to gather requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions
Customize Duck Creek Author, Express, and Field Formulas to meet specific business needs
Integrate Duck Creek Policy and Billing modules with external systems using Duck Creek Anywhere API and other integration tools
Conduct code reviews, optimize system performance, and troubleshoot complex technical issues
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers throughout the SDLC
Manage build and deployment processes using CI/CD pipelines and ensure adherence to DevOps best practices
Participate in release planning, effort estimation, and preparation of technical documentation
Stay updated with Duck Creek platform enhancements and recommend adoption strategies for new features
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 9 years of hands-on experience in Duck Creek Policy and/or Billing
Strong expertise in Duck Creek Author, Expression Builder, Skins, Forms, and Page Designer
Experience with Duck Creek integration tools such as Anywhere API, TransACT, or Data Insights
Proficiency in .NET, C#, XML, JavaScript, and SQL Server
Sound understanding of the insurance domain, particularly Specialty Lines
Experience working in Agile environments and distributed teams
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Preferred
Duck Creek certifications (Policy, Billing, or Integration)
Exposure to Duck Creek OnDemand (cloud) environment
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or Git
Prior experience leading teams or serving as a Technical Lead
