Responsibilities
Business partners with commercial functions providing business insight into critical decisions
Prepare monthly financial reports, analyze key trends and variances, and highlight improvement opportunities
Support budgeting and rolling forecasting processes, ensuring accurate data and analysis
Highly analytical and can transition between being strategic and completing hands on tasks
Support monthly and quarterly financial performance analysis across P&L, working capital and cash flow
Develop and own dashboard(s) and reports to spot trends and highlight areas of opportunity
Support month-end close with updating reports and researching variances between actual and forecasted balances
Be support for the wider commercial finance team on ad hoc projects
Qualification
Required
Strong analytical skills
Proactive
Clear thinking/problem solving
Ability to work, collaborate and communicate across all levels of experience
Familiar with standard accounting and financial reporting concepts, practices, and procedures
Ability to work under deadline pressure and initiative to see projects/assignments through
Self-starter with the ability to transition between priorities effectively
Highly proficient in Excel, including advanced formulas and functions
Experience with dashboard tools such as Power BI
SAP and OneStream experience is a plus
Preferred
Bachelor's degree with a major in Finance or Accounting
4+ years' experience in Finance or Accounting
Analytical and quantitative abilities with expertise in financial modeling and data analysis
