They are seeking an engineering leader responsible for defining strategy and managing core enterprise services, leading a team to ensure architecture, design, delivery, and operations are handled effectively.

Responsibilities

Define the strategy, manage and operate the core Enterprise services for Oracle employees

Lead a team covering a critical enterprise services with full responsibility for architecture, design, delivery and operations across the space

Operate high-scale services and make them more resilient

Work with services that require data to travel long distances, while adhering to compliance and regulations

Build a team, including recruiting and hiring, and be responsible for design, delivery and operations within a service area

Motivate teams to make both process and service improvements through automation and proper instrumentation

Drive execution of features and projects, and own feature design

Required

BS or MS degree in Computer Science or relevant discipline

8+ years people management and/or lead experience with at least 2+ years leading an organization including other managers or leads

Experienced leader and exemplary manager

Successfully demonstrates full responsibility for architecture, design, delivery and operations for components across a given product or service

Previous experience owning and improving quality of org-wide processes, with responsibility including roadmap planning, talent review and goal setting

Ability to obtain results through the people you lead, owning organizational structure, headcount planning, recruiting targets and performance management

Ability to attract high-value talent from outside the organization, with additional success developing and retaining top talent

Demonstrated ability to advocate for change
