Astrion has an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Engineer II for the RTC Test and Engineering Services (RTES) Contract supporting the Army Division. The role involves gathering customer testing requirements, planning and executing test programs, and managing program costs and schedules.

Responsibilities

Effectively gather customer testing requirements for new test programs, then plan, execute, and report on programs
Develop test plans and safety documentation, participate in document peer reviews, execute MIL-STD-461/464 testing alongside experienced technicians, analyze test data for accuracy and completeness, and prepare deliverables for customers
Manage program cost expenditures and monitor/manage program schedules to remain on time and budget

Required

Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering in designated area of specialization or related discipline from an ABET accredited college/university
At least 3 years of relevant work experience
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, TEAMS, OneNote) and well organized
Excellent verbal and written skills are necessary to effectively communicate with customers and management
Must be able to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Government security clearance (Must be a U.S. Citizen)
Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening
Must have a valid driver's license
(U.S. Citizenship is required for all applicants)

Preferred

Experience or familiarity with electromagnetic environmental effects principles
Experience planning, executing, and reporting on developmental test and evaluation efforts
