Responsibilities

Represent clients in business and commercial litigation matters in state and federal courts
Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
Conduct legal research and prepare comprehensive legal analyses
Engage in trial preparation, including the development of trial strategies and witness preparation
Negotiate settlements and engage in alternative dispute resolution methods such as mediation and arbitration
Manage case files and maintain detailed records of all case activities
Advise clients on legal rights, obligations, and possible outcomes throughout the litigation process
Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals to ensure effective case management

Qualification

Required

Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Active membership in the Florida Bar
3+ years minimum proven experience in business or commercial litigation role
Strong legal research, Courtroom Advocacy, writing, and analytical skills
Excellent negotiation and mediation abilities
Familiarity with contract law and commercial transactions
Ability to manage multiple cases and meet tight deadlines
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to represent clients effectively
