JANUS Research Group is seeking a Systems Engineer – Subject Matter Expert to provide exceptional expertise in the design, integration, testing, and analysis of military electronics and computer systems. This role requires a deep understanding of systems engineering principles within the DOD environment and the ability to provide strategic guidance throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Design, integrate, test, and analyze military electronics, computer networking systems, super-minicomputers, microcomputers, and digital and graphic display systems

Initiate, supervise, and develop requirements from a project’s inception to conclusion for complex to extremely complex programs

Provide strategic advice, technical guidance, and expertise to program and project staff

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution and compliance with operational requirements

Maintain comprehensive documentation and reporting standards for engineering processes and outcomes
