Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into functional software applications
Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality code that meets project specifications and industry standards
Implement innovative solutions utilizing modern programming languages and frameworks, with a focus on efficiency and maintainability
Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure best practices are followed and identify areas for improvement
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize downtime and optimize system performance
Document development processes, system configurations, and user guides to facilitate knowledge sharing and future maintenance
Stay current with emerging technologies in quantum engineering and software development to incorporate best practices into projects
Participate in agile development cycles, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives to promote continuous improvement
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in software development with a strong foundation in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++
Ability to analyze complex problems logically and develop innovative solutions efficiently
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), version control systems, and testing methodologies
Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
Experience working in fast-paced environments with a focus on quality delivery
Preferred
Demonstrated knowledge of quantum engineering principles and their application within software solutions is highly desirable
Advanced degrees or certifications in quantum engineering are a plus
