Digital Access & Engagement Program Manager
The University of Washington is seeking a Digital Access & Engagement Program Manager to join UW Medicine’s Access & Innovation team. The role involves leading the design and implementation of digital scheduling initiatives, driving adoption of online self-scheduling, and collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance patient access and experience.

Responsibilities
Oversee digital scheduling program, including workflow design, enhancement prioritization, and stakeholder communication
Partner with clinics to ensure adoption of scheduling tools; lead structured change management processes
Act as SME for training on scheduling tools; lead committees overseeing digital access initiatives
Develop dashboards and analytic frameworks; monitor performance and identify improvement opportunities
Provide strategic oversight for scheduling initiatives; lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with executive leadership
Qualification
Required
Master's degree in Business, Communications, Healthcare Administration, or related field AND six to eight years of demonstrated success in a consulting capacity in a related healthcare, hospital, or ambulatory setting to include:
Five (5) years of Patient Access related experience
Five (5) years of supervisory experience in healthcare setting
Five (5) years of project management and change management
Three (3) years of customer service management
Project Management Facilitation - Extensive experience in facilitating large meetings, demonstrating the ability to represent a complex organization or collaborative of various stakeholders and lead to outcomes
Customer Orientation - establishes and maintains long-term relationships, building trust and respect by consistently meeting and exceeding expectations with internal and external customers, vendors, and stakeholders
Tactical Execution Experience - oversees the development, deployment and direction of complex programs, plans and processes
Vendor management Experience - contracting, quality assurance, etc
Policies & Procedures Experience - articulates knowledge and understanding of organizational policies, procedures and systems
Computer (PC) Skills - demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ability to learn new computer/software skills quickly
Financial Management Knowledge - applies tools and processes to successfully manage budget, ROI, and business forecasting
Analytical Skills - Excellent analytical skills with the ability to develop, assess, and implement at all operational phases of a project
Organization Skills - proactively prioritizes, anticipates needs and effectively manages resources and budgets
Communication Skills - communicates clearly, persuasively and concisely both in verbal and written communication
Resilient, agile, and ability work in a dynamic environment and under pressure
Able to operate and communicate at a high professional level while performing work at a detailed level and frequently transfer and move between the two
Equivalent experience and education will be considered except in cases where required
