Responsibilities
Developing strategic sales plans to maximize opportunities through existing account and new accounts
Utilizing marketing resources and industry knowledge to create and manage a high-volume sales pipeline ensuring forecast accuracy
Securing new and renewals contracts to maximize adoption of Akamai technology and customer satisfaction
Partnering with sales engineers, influencers and subject matter experts to ensure consultative engagement with prospects and customers
Qualification
Required
5 years of relevant experience and a Bachelors' degree
Excellent knowledge of the Cyber Security Ecosystems, Cloud Security and Zero Trust
Successful sales experience in system, solution or channel sales within the SLED environment
Previous experience selling IT solutions to California State & Local governments and Education
Previous experience selling IT solutions to the Department of Homeland Security
Display an ethical approach to sales, show integrity, personal dedication and be able to uphold Akamai values
