Responsibilities
As an overall Project SQS Coordinator, use critical thinking and problem solving to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of the Project’s SQS efforts
Utilize established policies, procedures, systems, and tools
Evaluate project and equipment schedules and coordinate the assignments of 3rd party inspectors accordingly
Review 3rd party inspector qualifications to ensure they are up to date prior to assignments. Maintain qualification documentation in the project repository
Act as liaison between the 3rd party inspectors and the Jacobs Work Package Owners for the relevant equipment orders
Provide access to project documentation for the 3rd party inspectors. This may include specifications, P&ID’s, procedures, etc
Track effort hours from both 3rd party inspectors and advanced expeditors against the project budget. Calculate and report required Estimates To Complete (ETC) for hours needed to complete the scope of work
Attend project expediting meetings. Identify targeted needs for shop expediting. Assign SQS Engineer or Technician to fulfill these project needs
Review reports from both inspectors and SQS engineers for completeness, then distribute reports to relevant stakeholders, and file in the project repository
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of project experience in lieu of degree
5+ years of experience in engineering and/or capital construction purchasing, contracting, expediting, supplier quality management and material management
Experience using MS Office tools, including intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills
Must possess strong communication, organization, and management abilities. This position involves the coordination of multiple activities across multiple projects
A drive to solve complex and challenging problems
Preferred
2+ years of experience in Biopharmaceutical/Life Science Manufacturing Projects preferred
