Computer Engineering Lab Assistant - 2025/26
Seton Hall University is looking for a Computer Engineering Lab Assistant to support the operation of their lab. The role involves monitoring the lab, maintaining equipment, assisting with software installation, and supporting faculty and student projects.

Responsibilities
Monitors the computer engineering lab during open hours
Checks and maintains robots, network devices, and computer systems
Helps with installing software on the lab computers (Matlab, custom-developed tools for data collection)
Troubleshoots lab equipment and software issues
Makes sure lab guidelines are followed
Keeps lab logs and helps coordinate lab schedules
Supports faculty-led research and student projects
Supports faculty during demonstrations and class labs
Helps with lab setup and organization before class sessions
Performs data entry
Qualification
Required
The assistant must be enrolled in the B.S. in Computer Science program
