Responsibilities
Develop automation from scratch and work on several different projects using distinct test automation frameworks
Test RESTful web services, client-side web and mobile SDKs, and real-time media services
Architect new projects in multiple frameworks
Tackle difficult problems in evaluating audio and video performance under different network conditions and device environments
Set the direction and establish the path forward for automating testing of components and integrating automation testing into the overall development process
Qualification
Required
BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent experience
6+ years of experience as a software engineer or in a related field
Experience with JavaScript and TypeScript
Expertise with Mocha, TestCafe, Saucelabs or similar test automation tools
Expertise with GitHub, Jenkins, and other CI technologies
Experience developing asynchronous and multithreaded software
Experience as a full stack or web front end developer
Extremely strong written and oral communications skills
A strongly collaborative mindset, with a drive to teach and share knowledge
Ability to ramp up quickly on multiple platforms to troubleshoot and extend existing tests
Object-oriented programming and design skills
