Scientist / Industrial Postdoc
Boston Institute of Biotechnology is seeking a Scientist or Postdoctoral Fellow to join their Cell Line Development team. The role involves designing, developing, and optimizing mammalian cell lines for therapeutic protein production while collaborating on impactful projects using advanced technologies.

Responsibilities
Design and execute experiments for stable cell line generation using advanced molecular and cellular techniques
Develop and refine workflows for cell line screening, selection, and characterization
Drive improvements in productivity, product quality, and process robustness through innovative strategies
Utilize FACS for single-cell cloning and characterization
Perform analytical assays such as ELISA, Octet, and ddPCR for protein quantification and genetic analysis
Collaborate closely with upstream process development and analytics teams
Analyze complex datasets and communicate findings to stakeholders
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards
Effectively manage multiple projects and meet timelines in a fast-paced environment
Qualification
Required
Ph.D. in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or related field with ≤1 year or MS with ≥3 years or BS with ≥5 years of industry experience
Hands-on experience in mammalian cell culture and cell line engineering
Familiarity with molecular cloning, CRISPR/Cas systems, and high-throughput screening
Proficiency in FACS for single-cell isolation and analysis
Experience with ELISA, Octet, and ddPCR techniques
Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis tools, including R and JMP
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Proven ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and deliver results within deadlines
Preferred
Experience with automation and high-throughput technologies
Knowledge of omics data integration and AI-driven approaches for cell line optimization
Understanding of regulatory requirements for biologics development
