Mechanical Lead - Chemical Process Systems

The Mechanical Lead will oversee the mechanical execution of equipment generations for deployment at mine sites, focusing on design, integration, and testing of modular process skids.

Responsibilities

Lead mechanical design of modular pilot test skids built for wet corrosive, low-pressure operation and tight space constraints
Define and achieve flow distribution and pressure loss targets through header design modeling and measured verification
Oversee integration of mechanical and electrical components including device mounting, wiring, routing, and enclosure layouts
Deliver complete design packages with drawings, models, datasheets and controlled manufacturing documentation
Manage in-house assembly and testing to ensure mechanical completion of code compliance and readiness for in-field operation

Required

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or chemical engineering
At least 2 years taking mechanical or chemical process equipment from design through mechanical completion and start-up
Demonstrated factory and site acceptance testing leadership for capital equipment or packaged systems
Lead process piping or pressure vessel-work with vendors
Built P&IDs and general-arrangement drawings, including hands-on experience building modules
Must be willing to relocate to Chattanooga, TN and available to travel to customers across the United States, Canada, Brazil, South Africa, and Australia for process technology installation and commissioning
