Responsibilities
Meet with production and product managers to assess existing processes
Draft process ideas to reduce costs and improve productivity
Perform risk assessments
Design and testing process improvements and new process systems
Develop standard operating instructions for process improvements and new process systems
Ensure processes comply with safety, environmental and quality standards
Troubleshoot problems associated with manufacturing processes
Conduct tests and monitoring production process performance
Develop best practices to ensure product quality
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering
Preferred
At least 1 year of engineering work / internship experience
Advanced technical skills - familiarity with process controls, data analysis and root cause analysis
Experience with process simulations and standard operating procedures
Experience with CAD and AutoCAD
