Assistant Professor, Transplant Hepatology - Internal Medicine, McGovern Medical School
UTHealth Houston is recruiting an Assistant Professor focusing on Transplant Hepatology. The role involves developing and expanding the liver disease clinical program and establishing new transplant hepatology clinics in the Houston area.

Responsibilities
Develop and evolve the growth of our liver disease clinical program which in turn will expand the liver transplant pool and support clinical investigative programs within the Ertan Digestive Disease Center at Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center and UTHealth Houston
Develop relationships and clinical activities in partner facilities within the Memorial Hermann system with a concentration on providing Hepatology expertise and transplant evaluations in areas where we currently do not have a clinical presence
Develop between two to three new transplant hepatology clinics at target locations in the Texas Medical Center and the Houston area
Qualification
Required
M.D. degree
board certified
eligible for licensure in the State of Texas
graduate of an ACGME hepatology fellowship program
demonstrate a commitment to excellence, discovery and service
potential to be outstanding in their field of expertise
share an interest in fulfilling the common goals of McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston
