Responsibilities

You will serve as the Quota Control Authority (QCA) for all Selected Reserve Sailor's personnel to obtain course information, training schedules, and course location information
You will book quotas for all Selected Reserve personnel in Navy training course convenings for technical, professional development, and leadership courses and associated training paths
You will collect and analyze data to evaluate training programs
You will perform analysis, identification, and forecasting of future quota requirements across a variety of ratings and training paths through the Student Input Plan (SIP) process

Required

Must be a US Citizen
Must be determined suitable for federal employment
Must participate in the direct deposit pay program
New employees to the Department of the Navy will be required to successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check
Generally, current federal employees applying for GS jobs must serve at least one year at the next lower grade level
Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326
Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service
You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty
This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites
This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-6 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector
Experience working within multiple Navy information systems, including the Corporate Enterprise Training Activity Resource System (CeTARS), Enterprise Navy Training Reservation System (eNTRS), Defense Travel System (DTS), and the Catalog of Navy Training Courses (CANTRAC)
Experience reading, analyzing, and interpreting Navy Reserve orders and associated execution guidance
Experience tracking, booking, managing quota control, and monitoring billet requirements within SELRES recruitment programs
