Responsibilities

Design and develop enterprise-grade technology solutions with a focus on performance, stability, scalability, and usability

Utilize modern development methodologies with a cloud-first approach, incorporating CI/CD pipelines through Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools

Mentor developers on best practices

Lead and participate in design and development meetings using Agile and traditional methodologies

Create comprehensive documentation for technical design, system specifications, and test outcomes

Serve as a subject matter expert for assigned applications

Participate in an on-call rotation for production support

Required

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience

5+ years of software engineering experience with one of the following technologies: Python, .NET, C#, .NET Worker Services, ASP.NET Core, and background service patterns

Proficient in designing, implementing, and consuming RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Core and API documentation tools like Swagger/OpenAPI

Expertise in Microsoft SQL Server and Entity Framework Core, including designing schemas, writing complex queries, and optimizing database performance

Experience in AI methods, models, and platforms including Microsoft Power Platform, CoPilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry, or similar platforms

Experience in building responsive web applications using JavaScript frameworks like React, Angular, or Blazor

Skilled in deploying and managing applications on Microsoft Azure, including App Services, Azure SQL, and Azure Functions

Proficient in Git, with experience in branching, merging, and pull request workflows

Advanced expertise in designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools

Capable of writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code

Strong problem-solving and debugging skills

Experienced in working within Agile/Scrum teams

Preferred

7+ years of software engineering experience

Experience in authoring and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform

Proficient in designing, provisioning, and managing cloud infrastructure, preferably on Microsoft Azure, utilizing Terraform modules and best practices

Knowledgeable in automated testing, build, and deployment strategies for .NET and containerized applications

Experience with Azure and GCP cloud platforms

Skilled in supporting data and process governance of distribution system compliance in accordance with company policies, standards, and SOX requirements
