Yaga is a social e-commerce company focused on second-hand fashion, aiming to expand its market presence. As a Data Analyst, you will leverage data to inform growth strategies, collaborate with senior leaders, and drive key business decisions to enhance user acquisition and retention.

Responsibilities

Shape Growth Strategy: Use data to uncover and validate opportunities that help Yaga grow its user base, improve retention, and increase profitability
Guide Strategic Decisions: Collaborate with senior leaders to influence product, marketing, and investment decisions with clear, actionable insights
Support Experimentation: Design and analyze experiments across performance marketing (e.g. incrementality testing), CRM, and product growth levers (e.g. referrals, pricing)
Measure Impact of Growth Levers: Quantify the contribution of CRM, user acquisition, and other initiatives to business outcomes, helping teams prioritize what works. In essence, help answer the question of *"where should our next €1 go?"*
Bridge Teams & Empower Autonomy: Ensure marketing, product, finance and data teams have access to the right data, and help upskill them to make data-informed decisions independently
Own Growth KPIs: Define, track, and evolve the metrics that matter most - not just reporting them, but interpreting them to drive action and continuous improvement

Required

6 years of proven experience in data analysis and business intelligence, focusing on growth drivers and opportunities
Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data and derive actionable insights. SQL and Excel/Sheets proficiency is a must
Good fundamental Python for analytics knowledge (pandas, visualisation libraries, and basic understanding of ML and statistics)
Experience reporting business results and communicating insights to cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and data teams. This includes knowledge of visualisation tools like Looker, Metabase, Tableau, PowerBI, etc
Familiarity with business planning processes and evaluating investment scenarios for growth initiatives
Experience in upskilling teams in data literacy and fostering autonomy in data usage
Ownership of Growth KPI reporting, tracking performance and suggesting improvements based on findings
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders

Preferred

Knowledge of growth levers like referrals and pricing strategies, with a track record of testing and implementing them
Strong understanding of user acquisition and retention strategies to drive growth and improve profitability
Experience or willingness to use tools like Hex / Deepnote
