The role involves implementing and integrating security technologies while developing automation for security tools, ensuring the protection of enterprise data and compliance with security protocols.

Responsibilities

Ensure proper identity management, Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Active Directory, and application configurations to support IT and security operations
Develop and implement automation for disparate security and enterprise IT tools
Plan, design, develop, and implement enterprise security solutions aligned with business goals and risk tolerance
Design, deploy, and manage countermeasures against known security threats; develop preventative strategies for new and emerging threats to enterprise data, networks, and services
Ensure consistent application of protective measures across enterprise business applications and infrastructure; take appropriate action to safeguard state data and technology services

Required

5+ years expertise in Identity and Access Management (IAM), logging, and reporting systems
5+ years experience in automation development using Python and Bash
Strong cybersecurity awareness and understanding
5+ years experience with Linux, Windows, and network security protocols
5+ years experience supporting large IT environments and/or system deployments

Preferred

SIEM analysis and reporting
Knowledge of security frameworks: NIST, CSF, CJIS, IRS 1075, CMS MARS-E
Application security (AppSec)
CISSP, CISA, CISO, or equivalent advanced security certification
Additional certifications (e.g., CEH, OSCP, GPEN)
