You're a builder of builders - you don't just write great code; you create environments where engineers do their best work and grow into leaders themselves

You speak fluent business and technical - you can seamlessly translate between board - level strategy and implementation details, making complex decisions simple

You have battle tested experience - you've scaled systems from thousands to billions of events, and teams from startup to scale - up

You're obsessed with impact - you measure success not in lines of code, but in threats stopped and customers protected

Preferred

Background in security infrastructure, malware analysis, threat detection, or high - scale telemetry systems - you've lived in the world where every millisecond matters and false positives are as dangerous as false negatives

Experience with large - scale data pipelines, ETL, or continuous scanning infrastructure - you've built systems that process billions of events without breaking a sweat

Familiarity with detection logic (YARA, Sigma), binary analysis, or reverse engineering workflows - you understand the language of threat detection and can bridge the gap between security researchers and platform engineers

Track record of building customer - facing APIs or developer platforms with high adoption and integration complexity - you know what it takes to create APIs that developers love and enterprises trust

Comfortable balancing short - term wins with long - term architectural decisions - and communicating those tradeoffs clearly to everyone from engineers to board members
