Personal Lines Insurance Producer

Responsibilities

Engage and develop new clientele for personal lines throughout the region
Facilitate marketing accounts
Coordinate all requested information with prospect to ensure information is updated and accurate
Create and present proposals to prospective clients
Upon sale provide proper hand off to the Account Executive and assist in anticipating client needs and helping to respond to client questions and issues in a timely manner
Review client exposures, loss experience, current coverages, and recommend appropriate products and services on an annual basis
Ensure that all regulatory requirements are met and complies with all internal policies and procedures

Required

3+ years of sales experience
Holds appropriate P&C license
Must demonstrate a strong ability to network, develop relationships, and close deals
Proven time management skills are necessary. Must demonstrate the ability to manage multiple priorities, deliver timely and accurate work products with a customer service focus, and respond with a sense of urgency as required
Strong active listening skills with the ability to ask thoughtful and probing questions in order to determine a client's needs. Must be detail oriented with effective follow-up skills
Must be highly proficient in the use of personal computers and supporting software in a Windows based environment, including MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience using customer or contact relationship management software strongly preferred, knowledge of EPIC is ideal
Demonstrated ability to function effectively as a team-oriented self-starter in a high visibility client environment
Proven ability to exercise sound judgment and strong problem-solving skills
Must demonstrate professional and ethical business practices, adherence to company standards, and a commitment to personal and professional development
