Responsibilities

Develop and implement regional sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets for lighting products, including urban decorative lighting
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including agency principles and key agency personnel architects and engineers, serving as the primary point of contact for all lighting-related inquiries
Lead, coach, and manage agents, providing product training and setting performance goals in alignment with lighting industry trends and customer needs
Identify new business opportunities, focusing on expanding the company’s market share in urban lighting
Collaborate with the marketing and product development teams to align sales strategies with promotional campaigns and the introduction of new lighting technologies
Prepare sales forecasts and performance reports, providing updates to senior management on lighting sales performance and market trends
Conduct market research to stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in the lighting sector, including energy-efficient and smart lighting solutions
Plan and execute Agent changes as needed to ensure future growth of the business and strategic alignment with changing market dynamics
Represent the company at lighting industry events, trade shows, and client meetings to promote the full range of lighting products and services
Work closely with the customer service and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of lighting products and exceptional customer service for all lighting projects

Required

5+ years of experience in sales within the lighting industry
Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Experience with selling to municipalities, architects, engineering firms, contractors, etc
Strong leadership and team management skills, with specific expertise in selling lighting products and solutions
Ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans specific to the products and industry demands
Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret sales data and lighting market trends to make informed decisions
Familiarity with CRM software and sales tracking tools
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, particularly for large-scale installations and urban lighting projects
Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to changes
