LUXFACTORY is seeking experienced Python/Django consultants for long-term collaboration on academic and research projects. The role involves developing and maintaining applications within the university ecosystem, contributing to technical design, and ensuring integration and continuous delivery.

Responsibilities

Develop Python/Django applications, APIs, modules, and scripts

Maintain and evolve existing systems and platforms

Contribute to technical design, apply design patterns, and perform unit testing

Ensure integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD)

Provide expert advice on development best practices

Participate in design workshops and technical documentation

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (backend, frontend, DevOps)

Required

At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Python and Django

Proven knowledge of design patterns and unit testing strategies

At least 2 years of experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD)

Minimum 5 years of experience in at least 3 of the following: Django REST Framework (API development), PostgreSQL, Git, One modern JavaScript framework (Angular, Vue.js, or React)

Fluent in French (native or C1 certified) – mandatory for collaboration

Able to work independently and as part of a team

High level of professionalism, service mindset, and precision

Availability for remote work, with potential on-site presence (Louvain-la-Neuve)
