Responsibilities
Develop and maintain stable, high-quality WordPress websites primarily using the Divi Builder and its modular framework, minimizing custom hardcoding
Implement custom styling using CSS to achieve specific design requirements while adhering to the Divi structure
Connect WordPress functionality and data with other applications using Make (Integromat) and Zapier automation platforms
Ensure the website is fully responsive and performs consistently across all major browsers and devices (cross-browser testing)
Utilize Google Analytics 4 (GA4) data to identify issues, prioritize development tasks, and inform data-driven operational decisions
Troubleshoot and resolve front-end issues efficiently using browser developer tools
Complete basic WordPress customizations using HTML and basic PHP (e.g., in functions.php)
Create basic reports or dashboards using tools like Looker Studio to communicate website performance and operational metrics to stakeholders
Proactively engage with the team, ask for help when stuck, participate actively in team ceremonies (stand-ups, planning, etc.), and provide/receive feedback effectively
Document completed work using established company templates and guidelines
Qualification
Required
Proficiency in Divi Builder: Expertise in creating, modifying, and managing layouts, sections, rows, and modules
Strong WordPress Fundamentals: Solid understanding of core functions: managing posts, pages, plugins, themes, and user roles
Custom Styling: Ability to write and apply custom CSS to modify Divi module styling
Basic Coding Knowledge: Familiarity with HTML for content structure and PHP for simple customizations
Automation Experience: Proven experience with workflow automation platforms, specifically Make (Integromat) and Zapier
Troubleshooting: Skill in using browser developer tools to inspect elements and diagnose front-end issues
Quality Assurance: Ability to perform cross-browser and responsive testing to guarantee website consistency
Learning Agility: A strong interest and willingness to learn Google Apps Script for advanced automation tasks
GA4 Familiarity: Basic understanding of Google Analytics 4 concepts, including event-based tracking, conversion setup, and utilizing standard reports
Data Insight Application: Ability to use web analytics data (GA4, etc.) to inform and prioritize development tasks for business impact
Reporting: Basic experience creating reports or dashboards (e.g., using Looker Studio) for performance communication
