Responsibilities
Understand and Drive Business Outcomes: You will be responsible for the technical levers that drive the business. This includes owning key metrics such as Core Web Vitals, organic growth, and the user journey
Drive Technical Decisions: You will own the technology stack, from high-level architecture to low-level implementation. You must deeply understand and be able to articulate how technical choices affect business performance, reliability, and future growth
Lead and Mentor a Team: You will lead our team of WordPress developers, fostering a culture of ownership and pragmatism. Your primary role is to unblock, support, and elevate the skills of your team
Interface with Product: You will act as the key technical partner to our Product Managers. Your role is to understand what they are asking for and why, and then effectively mediate between business requirements and technical constraints to achieve the best possible outcome
Qualification
Required
Minimum experience: Senior Manager/Supervisor
Solid technical foundation with a business-oriented mindset
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Proactive identification and resolution of issues in code, process, or team health
Deep understanding of the full stack: WordPress, PHP, modern JavaScript, Docker, and the server stack
Proven focus on security, performance, and reliability
