Responsibilities
Must be able to read and comprehend construction documents (plans and specifications)
Understand and work within the limits of Resident Engineer roles and responsibilities
Represent the firm in a professional manner at all times in front of contractors, owners, funding agencies, and the public
Observe and document construction progress through the preparation of daily field reports, observing materials testing, tracking installed quantities, and maintaining a photographic record
Participate in the review of periodic payment requests and change orders
Chair progress meetings and prepare minutes
Understand and enforce quality requirements in accordance with the contract documents
Communicate proactively with the project team and manage time effectively
Accept feedback in a professionally appropriate and thoughtful manner
Lead by example via an exemplary work ethic
Regular and predictable attendance with reliable transportation
Qualification
Required

Five (5) years related field experience is preferred OR equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience with municipal water and wastewater, NETTCP, ACI, AASHTO, VTrans, NHDOT, and/or FAA Standards is preferred, but not required
