Responsibilities

Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate pricing/terms, and maintain strong vendor relationships to secure favorable terms and pricing
Analyze market trends and pricing to identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure the organization achieves its procurement goals efficiently
Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, orders, costs and receipts to ensure timely delivery of products
Oversee the procurement of materials and services, ensuring that all purchases meet the organization's specifications and quality standards
Work closely with other departments to align procurement strategies with organizational and client goals to ensure accurate effective, timely and efficient procurements

Required

Strong negotiation skills to secure the best prices and terms from suppliers
Ability to analyze data and market trends to make informed purchasing decisions

Excellent organizational skills and decision making
Ability to multi-task
Knowledge of government purchasing requirements
High school diploma
Active Secret Clearance
Level 1: Minimum 2-4 years' experience in government procurement activity
Level 2: Minimum 5-10 years' experience in government procurement activity

Preferred

Previous experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management
