They are seeking a Middleware Administrator to perform service recovery and administration of IBM MQ, Connect Direct, and Apache Kafka, ensuring minimal downtime and business continuity while collaborating with various teams to troubleshoot connectivity issues.

Responsibilities

Perform Service Recovery & Administration of IBM MQ, Connect Direct and Apache Kafka to ensure minimal downtime and business continuity

Monitor and ensure availability, performance, and security of Middleware platforms

Conduct Disaster Recovery (DR) testing in coordination with business and infrastructure teams

Involved in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations for critical incidents

Provide 24x7 on-call support during assigned shifts and respond to severity 1 incidents under pressure

Troubleshoot issues in MQ, Kafka streaming, and Connect:Direct file transfers across production and DR environments

Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to troubleshoot end-to-end connectivity and data transfer issues

Worked with L1 in monitoring system performance and proactively address potential issues
