Responsibilities
Translate consumer and stakeholder needs into actionable product requirements
Design system architectures to ensure product features and functionality are met
Manage subsystem requirements and oversee interfaces between different components
Initiate and guide R&D efforts for new innovations to achieve program goals
Develop and prioritize learning plans to aid decision-making processes
Conduct risk analysis and create validation plans to mitigate potential issues
Lead engineering development using systematic tools like LAMDA/DAMAIC
Utilize Six Sigma methodologies to make data-driven decisions and coach team members
Engage in hands-on prototyping and testing to ensure product quality
Communicate development progress to senior leadership effectively
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the organization
Qualification
Required
Master's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering with substantial experience in consumer product development
Certification in Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt
Proficiency in statistical software tools such as JMP, Minitab, or R
Advanced skills in 3D modeling, preferably using Solidworks
Strong understanding of systems modeling and finite element methods
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred
Experience leading DFMEA activities and designing validation plans
Proven ability to build prototypes and conduct experimental testing
Willingness to travel internationally 10-20% of the time
