Responsibilities

Develop and maintain an overarching strategy that considers all trading levers, including Pricing, PPC, SEO, affiliate partnerships and product backlogs

Provide leadership and vision in monitoring, tracking, and driving performance insights for insurance products. Translating complex data into clear, strategic recommendations and actions, that influence decision-making at the highest levels

Drive the rationalisation of business opportunities (Product backlogs/PPC/Pricing etc.), ensuring only the most impactful initiatives are pursued. Lead cross-functional teams in validating opportunities that deliver the greatest value for customers and revenue growth, maintaining a focus on high-return items

Stay ahead of market trends and competitor pricing activity, using insights to proactively adjust strategy and maintain a competitive edge. Evaluate when and how market learnings should influence internal decision-making, ensuring Compare the Market remains a leader in the insurance sector

Required

Significant experience in a senior trading, pricing, commercial leadership role within the financial services sector and ideally in the insurance sector

Proven track record of influencing stakeholders at all levels, including executive level, with a focus on driving measurable business outcomes

Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire cross-functional teams and lead through influence

Understanding of trading levers (PPC, SEO, affiliate marketing, pricing) and experience managing complex trading strategies
