Project/Warehouse Manager
UICGS / Bowhead Family of Companies is seeking a Project/Warehouse Manager responsible for overseeing warehousing functions to support the Production Plant Albany. The role involves interfacing with government representatives, managing departmental goals, and ensuring contract objectives are met on time and within budget.

Responsibilities
Serves as the primary point of contact and authorized to interface with the Government Contracting Officer (CO) and the contract level Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR)
Establish and carry out departmental or organizational goals, policies, and procedures
Manage general activities related to providing services. Consult with other executives, staff, and board members about general operations
Responsible for ensuring a sufficient number of personnel are available during normal working hours to include weekends and holidays
Direct and oversee the organization's financial and budgetary activities. Analyze financial statements and other performance indicators
Identify places to cut costs and to improve performance, policies, and programs
Coordinates and monitors the scheduling, pricing, and technical performance of the contract
Ensures adherence to master plans and schedules; develops solutions to program problems; and directs work of employees assigned to the contract
Ensure accomplishment of the contract objectives are completed on time and within budget
Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
Ensure an adequate staff of personnel with the necessary management expertise to perform the work in accordance with sound and efficient management practices
Make provisions to accommodate fluctuations in work magnitude and type and have the flexibility to respond to emergencies and changing priorities/requirements in an effective and efficient manner
Distribute Government provided customer-satisfaction surveys
Prepare, implement, and maintain a Management Operating Plan (MOP)
Implement a continuous Risk Management process throughout the life cycle of the Contract
Responsible for safety protocols and maintaining a high level of safety awareness
Ensure work is performed in accordance with published Instructions, Federal, State, and Local OSHA regulations
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Associate degree and High School Diploma or equivalent
At least five (5) years of experience of Logistics, warehousing, and distributions supervisory experience
Possess the basic knowledge and skills required to plan, control, manage, and be responsible for the successful completion of the work
Required to obtain and maintain a valid operating permit for the specific type of MHE (4K and 6K capacity)
Knowledgeable of established warehousing and material handling methods and techniques
Have written and oral communications abilities commensurate with this supervisory role
Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees, Government Representative, and outside contacts
Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team
Valid driver's license in the state of employment with an acceptable driving record
Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
US Citizenship is required for this location
Ability to obtain a Common Access Card through a favorable Personnel Security Investigation and subsequent National Agency Check with Inquiries
Must pass a base security background check for CAC
