Responsibilities
Monitor daily safety, quality, productivity, and Employee Relations of the facility utilizing FMDS
Ensure customers’ needs are/have been met (follow up)
Maintain a good working relationship with subordinates and act as a positive role model for them and their employees. Promote a team-like atmosphere
Develop/oversee improvement initiatives for the operations using principles of Kaizen
Establish and modify procedures and workflows using the Toyota Production System Methods
Control of Warehouse budget and staff working hours. Assist with budget and monthly report preparation
Assist in developing and implementing training programs. Development of staff. Develop backup staff to support your day-to-day activities when absent
Complete all assignments by the deadline except under unusual circumstances, in which CoC must be notified in a timely manner (Stop Call Wait)
Ensure KPI’s are met for the facility
Promote and lead 5s within the organization
Other duties and special projects as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or GED
6-9 years' experience in warehouse environment with leadership and supervision responsibilities
