Responsibilities
Design visually compelling website layouts for small and mid-sized U.S. businesses across multiple industries
Work extensively in Figma — apply correct layering, tagging, naming conventions, and grouping for developer-ready files
Use Figma Prototyping to define navigation, interactions, and page flow
Apply principles of UI/UX, color theory, and responsive design for consistent visual hierarchy and accessibility
Translate design fundamentals into industry-appropriate aesthetics (e.g., law, health, retail, home services)
Collaborate with copy-writers and developers to ensure designs translate seamlessly into live websites
Maintain agility — meet high-output goals while upholding design quality and brand consistency
Qualification
Required
2+ years of professional experience in web design
Hands-on expertise in Figma, including components, Auto Layout, and prototyping
Strong understanding of responsive design, color theory, and typography
Portfolio of at least 10 professional website designs showcasing creativity and consistency
Good communication and collaboration skills
Preferred
Experience with design-to-development workflows using WordPress or Elementor
Familiarity with design libraries, vector tools, or animation in Figma
Basic understanding of SEO and conversion-oriented design principles
