They are seeking a highly experienced Senior Commercial Lawyer to provide strategic legal counsel across a range of commercial legal matters, working independently and supporting both internal and client stakeholders.

Responsibilities
Provide expert legal advice and representation in complex commercial disputes and transactions
Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including service contracts, NDAs, supplier agreements, partnership agreements, and licensing contracts
Advise on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and risk management strategies
Advise on commercial litigation, arbitration, and alternative dispute resolution processes
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Australian commercial and contract law, including relevant statutory and case law developments
Support insolvency and restructuring matters, with the ability to assess legal options in distressed situations
Collaborate effectively with in-house legal teams, finance departments, and external counsel where necessary
Qualification
Required
Law degree and valid legal qualification in any common law jurisdiction
5+ years of experience in commercial law, including litigation support and contract advisory
Strong analytical, drafting, and legal research skills
Experience supporting litigation and dispute resolution without acting as counsel in court
Ability to work independently and collaborate with global teams in a remote setting
Preferred
Demonstrated ability to work on or advise in matters relating to Australian commercial law (preferred but not mandatory)
