Responsibilities
Keep the current Laravel 8/9 backend (using Livewire) updated and working smoothly with new AI features
Connect external tools and services — like APIs, webhooks, and payment systems — to the backend
Help move from the current CRM (aMember) to a new AI-powered CRM system
Work with the Head of AI Automations to make sure the backend supports all AI workflows
Manage and adjust database structures, keeping future no-code tools in mind
Lead the shift from a Laravel backend to a scalable, no-code/AI-first platform
Fix and improve background tasks like queues, Redis, caching, and scheduled jobs (cronjobs)**
Qualification
Required
2+ years experience as a Laravel backend developer (Laravel 8/9 and Livewire)
Skilled at working with custom codebases
Experience integrating APIs, payment systems, and CRMs
Strong knowledge of Redis, queues, and cronjobs
Willing to learn and use no-code platforms (like Lovable, Bubble)
Able to connect traditional backend with no-code/AI workflows
Strong at debugging and solving backend problems
