Senior Business Development Manager – UK & Ireland

They are seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to develop and execute growth strategies to enhance their presence in the UK and Ireland, focusing on revenue growth, client relationship management, and market expansion.

Responsibilities
Analyze the UK& Ireland market landscape, competitive environment, and emerging industry trends
Define clear business objectives, revenue targets, and growth priorities for the UK& Ireland market
Develop and implement a business development strategy, including key initiatives, timelines, and resource allocation
Create detailed action plans and ensure effective execution
Identify and prioritize high-value client accounts and strategic partnerships
Build and nurture senior-level relationships with clients, stakeholders, and industry partners
Develop tailored account plans that align with client objectives and the company’s value proposition
Ensure exceptional client satisfaction and retention
Identify and pursue opportunities for market expansion, product diversification, and strategic partnerships within the UK
Conduct in-depth market research and feasibility assessments
Develop compelling business cases and proposals for new ventures and collaborations
Lead negotiations and manage contracts to ensure commercial success and compliance
Support the Director of Business Development in leading and inspiring the regional sales team
Set clear performance expectations and contribute to the development of best-practice sales processes
Provide coaching, feedback, and mentorship to drive continuous improvement
Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture across the team
Produce accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reports based on data, market intelligence, and client activity
Analyze performance to identify opportunities for growth and operational improvements
Present regular updates and strategic insights to the Director of Business Development and senior leadership
Report on key metrics, KPIs, and financial outcomes
A clear UK & Ireland business development strategy and action plan
Robust key account and market entry plans
Executed and compliant commercial agreements
Accurate sales forecasts and performance analyses
Regular progress reports for UK & Ireland leadership
Achieving agreed sales targets
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in business development or sales leadership within the UK & Ireland market
Strong understanding of UK & Ireland business dynamics and commercial regulations
Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills
Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to execution
Ability to build trust and influence at senior levels
Strong analytical skills and commercial acumen
